Overview
What is NetManager?
NetManager is network monitoring software. It allows detailed definition of the network topology, including network devices, network connections, optical routes and other types of objects. NetManager informs you in real time about problems in the network, such as traffic problems or device congestion problems. The software also alerts for potential problems in branches, which are built entirely of unmanageable devices, using the status of the users of these devices.
How can NatManager help you?
NetManager is a comprehensive platform that allows you not only to describe in detail your network, but also to receive timely information about problems in it. The algorithms for analysis of unmanageable devices lets you easily locate problems in branches build entirly of such devices, using users' online/offline status. This method saves time, which is usualy lost in attempts to locate the device by the technicians. The software gives you a clear idea of the congestion problems in the optical routes. The application also allows detail description of the optical routes, including all fibers. Briefly: NetManager reduces the response time of the technicians when a problem occurs, makes the communication between operators and technicians easy and lets the operators detect certain problem, before it is reported by the client.
Why choose NetManager?
NetManager is a web-based application which makes it OS and platform independent. The software is based on the RIA (Rich Internet Application) technology, which makes it interactive and easy to use. NetManager is designed to visually describe the network, allowing its topographical application to actual map of the region by means similar to those of simple graphic editor. NetManager can be used by low-skilled staff, providing clear information about the location and connections between devices, about the length and characteristics of the optical routes and also about the problems in the network. The software has an open interface, which connects to existing databases and applications, avoiding duplication of functionality and infomration, which are already used by the client.
